Kathy Steinbock

I am Kathy Steinbock and I want to formally introduce myself to you all, as I will be sharing information with you with regarding aromatherapy and essential oils. You may recall a quick little write-up I shared with you about Essential Oil Distillation, which has become a huge passion of mine.

Years ago, I began carefully considering not only what I put in my body, but also what I put on my skin. Along with adopting a healthier diet by incorporating more natural food choices, my quest for natural skin products became of particular importance. As I became more and more dedicated to living a healthier lifestyle, I discovered essential oils and all their fascinating therapeutic possibilities. Along with having lovely fragrances, I learned about specific essential oils that were particularly suited for skin care. When purchasing natural skin care products, I would find essential oils included on the ingredients labels, and my curiosity was piqued!

I found an accredited career school locally that offered a Certificate in Aromatherapy program, and enrolled immediately. Upon successful completion, I had thoroughly studied 40 of the most common essential oils, and several fixed oils, as well. As an aromatherapist, I continued to examine as many essential oils as possible, and in no time at all, I had a collection of well over 100 oils and several diffusers with which I enjoyed them. The more I studied, the more I learned which essential oils would provide support for emotional issues and which were best for skin ailments, as well as which ones would best support traditional medicine, when appropriate. Making massage blends with the appropriate oils for use to help rebalance muscle aches & pains, inhalers for bothersome sinus aliments and emulsions as the carriers for the essential oils were all creations I began working with on a regular basis.

That is how it all began, and there is not a day that goes by that I don't take the time to 'stop and smell the essential oils.'
